- Feeding the children is one of the most stressful parts of my day. It’s a process that has it’s own sound effects (“awww!”). I could elaborate on this, but only at great risk of being one of those mundane mommy blogs that articulates transactional details of this life of privilege, in words rife with poor me-isms. BUT THAT WOULD BE BORING (believe me, I know, because I wrote it and deleted it). Instead, I’m going to make video montages of their most dramatic behaviors to share with their future girlfriends.
- In my spare moments, I am a little bit daydreamy about this year’s garden efforts. There’s not a ton of space, but enough to make it purty and enough to grow some foods, and enough to justify my construction of a drip irrigation system. Last frost, wherefore art though?
- In my next life (there’s no such thing), I would like to be a beta tester for fancy dark, organic, fair trade chocolates, ya know, the green tea, acai, toffee coffee bliss kinds. I will throw in the wine pairing services for free, assuming the wine is comped and comes from the world’s finest vintners.
- The next few weeks hold: moving day, my 37th birthday, a trip to San Diego, some serious crunchtime on a technical report, and nine billion conference calls.
- Put a bird on it.
