Don’t you hate it when you craft a ridiculously restrained and professional response to a passive aggressive little bitch of an email and then you forget to include a damn question mark where a question mark was needed? Damn punctuation.

The new school of fish →
The Bay Area’s smartest diners, chefs, and purveyors now know (and care) where every cut of grass-fed beef and stalk of pesticide-free produce comes from. Yet nearly all look the other way when fish is on the plate. What will it take to stop the eco-fibbing?

height
I’m 5’7”.
My mom is 5’ (barely). Her mom is like 4’10” (I think that your growth stunts when you have your first kid at the age of 14).
My Dad is 6’.
My sis is 5’2”.
My Dad’s paternal grandma (that would be Myrtle) was at least 5’9”, so I figure I get a bit o’ the height from her. Thanks, Myrtle!

Geez,

To everyone Tumblr just unfollowed for me, I’m sorry. I’m trying to find you again, though it seems the +follow function is also broken.
oh Tumblr. Our patience will one day wane. It takes work to build up these social connections and then you arbitrarily cut them. No bueno.

Ken: Summer's birthday is on the 17th.
Me: I'm not having a birthday this year, I am skipping it.

Riley: Ohhhhh, Summer.

I don’t know how many of you play over at Quora, but I do. The techy world has definitely embraced it, with a variety of topics and a depth of users that allows for quality input. The topics in which I’m most knowledge and most interested (like water) have a smaller following, but perhaps one day the community will grow to encourage the type of discourse that other forums are...

you know what's neat?
It’s neat when you email an old high school friend and say, “it’s been too long, I’m thinking about you, call me when you can so that we can catch up” and then she ends up writing you a long and sweet email (like letters used to be) detailing all sorts of things big and small and says she’ll call soon, that she always has time to talk to a good friend. <3
I guess I need to have a place in my dreamland where I keep a roll of duct tape so that I can just problem solve and move on from trying to fix problems that are not my own.
Duct tape in mind’s junk drawer: activate.
